AAL Forum 2018: Ageing Well in the Digital Age

Being active in the active and healthy ageing sector and contributing to the future of digital transformation of health and social inclusion of our ageing population, NESTORE will take the opportunity of the AAL Forum 2018 taking place in Bilbao, Spain from 24 to 26 September 2018 to present its first achievements. Get a chance to meet partners in the workshops they will contribute to or around the coffee table.

Workshop 5 - Joining up age-friendly smart homes and smart communities: Voices in standardisation

Estelle Huchet, Research Project Officer at AGE Platform Europe, will look at how to make standards driving forces so that they address users’ needs and preferences. She will also provide insights on how to involve users in the standardisation process (and products/service development in general). This workshop will follow a participatory methodology using the NESTORE Personas.

Workshop 15 - Market for Remote Care Services

Itziar De Lecuona, law and bioethics specialist and lecturer at the University of Barcelona will moderate group discussions on push (based on technology capabilities) and pull (based on market needs and end user’s real service acceptance approaches) to identify new opportunities for virtual agents in remote care services.
